Senior Track Alignment Engineer

Are you a PWay Design Engineer with experience of OpenRail/PowerRail software?
 
Do you have client-side experience of assuring PWay design on major rail projects?
 
Location: London or Birmingham
Salary: London - Up to £80,000, Birmingham - Up to £71,160
Hybrid: Yes (2 days a week in office)
 
This is an exciting opportunity to work client-side on a major infrastructure project. As a result, previous experience of working directly for the client is heavily preferred.
 
The responsibilities for this role include PWay design using OpenRail/PowerRail, design assurance including the integration of raw modelling information, and the ability to develop the standards as the project progresses. An astute technical understanding regarding track design and alignment is essential for this opportunity.
 
Previous experience of coordinating other disciplines in to track/PWay design would be advantageous for this opportunity.
 
This role can be based out of Birmingham or London. For the Birmingham position, the salary can be up to £71,160 per year. For the London position, the salary can be up to £80,000. Both locations offer hybrid working, with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
 
Essential:
- OpenRail/PowerRail proficiency
- Experience of design assurance
- Experience of track alignment and an astute understanding of the PWay discipline
 
Preferred:
- Client-side experience
- DPE experience
