The Company

My client, one of the fastest growing multi-disciplinary in the UK for Planning, Architecture, Archaeology and Heritage, Master planning, Urban Design and Arboriculture and Ecology, is looking for an experience Senior Town Planner to join the team in Norwich!

The successful candidate will have excellent career development opportunities, and be involved in all aspects of Planning, working as part of the larger team, and leading your own projects. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects across sectors including residential, commercial, education and retail.

The Position as a Senior Town Planner

The position as a Senior Town Planner is for a proactive individual. The successful candidate will have full membership with the RTPI, and relevant consultancy experience. As a Senior Town Planner, you will be meaningfully engaged in all streams of work and will be expected to be an ambassador for the company, developing client relationships and delivering a high level of service.

Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Senior Town Planner

  • Be MRTPI / experience in planning / development
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen both on projects and cross discipline opportunities
  • Be competent and experienced in dealing with a varied workload of multiple projects.
  • Have excellent presentation and project delivery skills
  • Be a good team player with the ability to work under own initiative
  • Demonstrate the ability to motivate and manage others in the team to achieve / exceed agreed targets
