Senior Town Planner

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an experienced and busy Planning Consultancy on the South Coast with the hire of a Senior Town Planner.

Our client has established an excellent reputation for service and prides themselves on seeing development projects from inception through to delivery on the ground. If you became a Planner to make a difference, then this is the job for you!

Joining the existing team, you will help to support housebuilders, land promoters, local developers and businesses with a range of services such as;

-Planning advice

-Strategic land promotion

-Community engagement

-Appraisals

-Applications

-Project management

-Design and Masterplanning

-Appeals

-S106 negotiation

-EIA's.

Qualifications & Experience Required

-Appropriate qualification

-MRTPI status or close to submitting

-Commensurate planning experience at Town Planner or Senior Planner level

-Ability to take responsibility and work on your own initiative (albeit within a supportive team structure and environment).

-Project manage and use their time effectively.

-Enthusiasm and a desire to find solutions.

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

-Good IT literacy (MS Office applications and confident in using web-based applications).

-A willingness to learn as our profession evolves (be it through legislative change, policy or good practice). We will support you with CPD opportunities.

-A driving licence and have access to a car
