As part of their growth strategy, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Town Planner to join a team in Cardiff.
 
We are looking for a Senior Town Planner who will play a pivotal role in our Planning and Development team. As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for leading and managing a range of complex planning projects, collaborating with a diverse team of professionals, and providing expert advice to clients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our vibrant and dynamic organization.
 
Key Responsibilities
·Lead and manage planning projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
·Provide strategic planning advice to clients and internal stakeholders, demonstrating a deep understanding of planning policies and regulations.
·Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and contribute to the development of planning strategies.
·Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and attend public hearings as required.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
·Stay abreast of changes in planning legislation, policies, and industry trends to ensure compliance and innovation.
 
Qualifications and Experience
·Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
·Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) or equivalent.
·Proven experience in a Senior Town Planner role within a consultancy environment.
·Strong knowledge of UK planning policies, regulations, and procedures.
·Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
·Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
