As a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Anaesthetics, you will be an integral part of the Theatre department, contributing to quality care across a range of services.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Delivering safe, quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase
Supporting, coordinating, and assisting in the management and organisation of care within the operating department
Providing clinical and managerial leadership to ensure quality patient care
Leading patient care delivery during assigned periods
Conducting and ensuring adherence to patient safety checks
Contributing to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements or Skills:
Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
Post-registration qualification relevant to the functional specialty (e.g., Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification)
ENB 998 and/or mentorship course
Approved/recognised anaesthetic course
ILS certification and orthopaedic skills
Previous experience in an acute healthcare environment and in managing a clinical team
