The Test team has overall responsibility for testing of new and existing services and solutions being deployed in Three UK network. Working closely with Design, Operations and third parties you will ensure the quality of solutions, services and products delivered into the Production network meets the required standards.You will be accountable for the delivery of your test programmes, along with the operation and maintenance of the technical systems under your responsibility.Job DescriptionTest Analysis, Design, Execution and Reporting for test programmesDrive and deliver test programmes under your responsibility, working with stakeholders and partners on defect and issue resolution to ensure a commitmentto business timescalesContinual development and enhancement of test cases, documents and procedures and the supporting of test tools and systemsMaintenance and operational stability and integrity of test platforms, systems and services under your remit.Providing test leadership, guidance and steering to other engineers within the team.Providing technical test support and consultation as requiredBuild and develop excellent working relationship with our partners and stakeholdersQualificationsProven experience in a technical domain within telecommunicationsGood knowledge of 3G/4G call flows and systems and their underlying protocols and standardsKnowledge and solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle processImplementation of STLC for technical projects and programmesUse of test management tools such as HP ALMUse of test automation tools and/or test simulatorsCommunication and collaboration with key stakeholders and 3rd parties to challenge, consult and deliver on test requirementsIdentification and analysis of issues during test execution or environment troubleshooting, driving resolutionCommunicating effectively within and outside of the organisation and driving collaborative workingEffective decision making and prioritisation to deliver on time, cost and quality in line with business strategyAdditional InformationCompetitive annual salary, a performance based annual bonus & an additional 'flexible allowance' to spend on additional benefits, topping up your pension, or to be added to your salary.Hybrid working between your home (2-3 days a week) and our brand new Reading HQ office at Green Park (2-3 days a week)28 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays + 3 personal days annually, which increases with length of servicePrivate Medical Insurance, Life Assurance and Income ProtectionFree on-site car parkingPlus lots more including well-being and learning & development benefits!Salary range for this role start's at £40,960, and exact salary will differ by job and experienceOur people make us who we are. This allows employees to have a start time between 08:00 and 10:00 and finish time between 16:00 and 18:30.
