Senior Technical Support Specialist | FinTech | London, | up to £60k + Benefits PackageSenior Technical Support Specialist | FinTech | London, | up to £60k + Benefits PackagePlease note that this role does not provide VISA sponsorshipOur client is a world-class leader in the FX trading and exchange sector, and they are looking to bring new ideas, new energy, and innovation into the divisions in their London Offices.As the Senior Technical Support Specialist, in this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations and technical excellence across the company's systems.Your responsibilities will encompass providing technical support to internal stakeholders, facilitating the onboarding of new employees, and maintaining critical internal systems, including CRM.Additionally, your skills in database administration will position you as the primary resource for second-line support on specialized external applications.Key Responsibilities:Delivering timely technical support to internal staff via various channels, including in-person, ticketing system, and phone/email.Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, with a focus on database-related challenges.Updating internal documentation and knowledge base articles to facilitate self-service resolution.Collaborating with IT teams to implement system solutions, upgrades, and improvements, with a particular emphasis on database management.Assisting in new employee onboarding, ensuring smooth access to resources and systems.Providing second-line support for custom external applications, ensuring optimal performance for customers.Administering internal systems such as CRM, ensuring data integrity and system functionality, with a strong emphasis on database management.Conducting training sessions to educate employees on best practices and new technologies, including database-related topics.Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the IT support function, particularly in relation to database management. The Salary for this Senior Technical Support Specialist role is paying up to £60,000 + Benefits Package.Located in London City, with easy access to major stations, you'll enjoy an on-site working model critical to the company's operations.Prior experience in internal technical support or similar roles, with a strong focus on database administration.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in hardware, software, and basic network principles, with a deep understanding of database systems.Experience with Microsoft 365 suite and productivity tools.Familiarity with custom application support is advantageous.Knowledge of Azure, C# .NET, SQL, and other relevant technologies is a plus.If you are interested in applying for this Senior Technical Support Specialist Role, please respond to this ad with your updated CV or send it directly to
