What you’ll be doing:
Lead, Co-ordinate and Integrate Weapon Systems clearances
Assurance of clear Technical Requirements from the customer
Interface with Eurofighter/EPC/Contract team’s/Technical Managers
Assure technical compliance of System Clearance statements
Authoring of Aircraft Level Clearance documentation
Leading and providing specialist support on all aspects of Q&C
Your skills and experiences:
Extensive Systems Engineering background with appropriate degree or equivalent qualifications in a relevant STEM subject
Capability to interface and influence at all levels across several stakeholder organisation
Competence in operating within highly focused team, providing support to both internal and external stakeholders as required
Excellent communication skills, ability to adapt to an ever evolving environment and proactive approach to team work
Experience or an understanding of Qualification and Certification activities

The Weapon System Engineering Qualification and Certification Team:
The Weapon System Engineering Qualification and Certification team is responsible for all Typhoon platform level qualification, certification and verification activities.
An opportunity exists within WSE Q&C with responsibility to provide specialist support to the end to end clearance processes currently being exercised on the Typhoon & Tornado platforms. The role offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, where clearances are required to support a continuously evolving product. The role is highly visible within the business and as such would be ideal for individuals who are looking to gain experience of dealing with senior stakeholders. The role also requires the individual to represent BAE Systems and engage with European Partner Companies (EPC’s), UK customer, Eurofighter and NETMA.
This role will serve as a solid platform for the right individual to develop into an SME/Team Lead or move on to a role in Technical Management or within the Chief Engineers Office.
