You will play an integral role in the protection, maintenance, and support of specified ICT systems.THE ROLEThe Senior Technical IBM Z-Series Architect will be responsible for:Providing 2nd and 3rd tier support and acting as a point of technical escalationLeading technical architecture projects (including changes to the live environment)Reducing the complexity and footprint of the Company ICT servicesSupporting (and leading) a number of concurrent Technical projects and Application projectsA Senior Technical Architecture Analyst candidate, will have knowledge of the following systems and environments:IBM WebSphere Application Service – 7.x, 9.xIt would be beneficial to have knowledge also of TSM / Spectrum Protect Backup and VE – 7.x, 8.x and experience in Disaster recovery, IBM SAN Management.THE CANDIDATEAn ideal Senior Technical IBM Z-Series Architect candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:Ideally hold a degree in a relevant subject, or possess strong relevant technical experienceExperience of Technical delivery / support within a complex environmentAbility manage multiple priorities with frequent changesAbility to deliver complex information to a wide group (at senior level)Excellent interpersonal skills, tenacity, persuasion, negotiation, analytical and numerateAbility to communicate effectivelyYou will have 10+ years experience within an ICT environment and possess evidence of continuous professional development.
