Technical Coordinator - East London



I am currently working alongside a leading residential developer who are recruiting a Technical Coordinator to join a multi-phase regeneration scheme in East London. The Technical Coordinator will have the opportunity to be work on multiple different build types over the course of the project.



Key Responsibilities




  • Supporting the Senior Technical Manager with the development of Planning Applications Developing and Coordinating all required Technical Information for tender purposes

  • Supporting the Development Engineer with the procurement of Service delivery, Civil Engineering details, foundations, etc

  • Programming resources either externally or internally to meet business plan objectives

  • The production of accurate detailed information in line with programmes and budgets

  • Reviewing all information to be issued for accuracy and efficiency.

  • Providing all necessary associated Health & Safety Information

  • Providing support for all internal and external parties and responding to queries promptly and effectively.

  • Supporting the Senior Technical Manager with the delivery of Technical and Design information

  • Coordination of external consultants in the production of technical details and drawings required for the effective delivery the residential schemes, from planning through to completion.

  • Achieving Building Control Approvals and the Management of all imposed Conditions

  • Clearance of Planning Conditions through the development and management of Applications.

  • Coordination and preparation of working drawings, details, and specifications.

  • Preparation of legal transfer plans and obtaining LR Approval.

  • Management and coordination of full technical release packs for tender purposes.

  • Preparation of full Production & Sales release packs upon commencement of developments.

  • To ensure the delivery of information in line with agreed timescales and set programmes

  • To assist in implementing departmental objectives and procedures

  • Aid the development engineer with the procurement of service information and quotes, civil engineering details, and substructure details.

  • Provide support and accurate technical information for all internal departments, including Commercial, Production & Sales, in line with any company goals and programmes.

  • Check and review all technical details and reports for accuracy and completeness

  • Coordination of the Development Health & Safety information and delivery by external consultants

  • Evaluation of changing regulatory standards and product information to ensure effective and cost-effective delivery of the residential schemes.

  • Attend all requisite external and internal meetings, including regular development progress meetings.



Competencies




  • HND/HNC in Building Studies/Construction or equivalent

  • Good level of IT literacy with experience of AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel & Word

  • Experience of technical aspects of house building / Building Regulations

  • An understanding of Planning Legislation

  • Construction Design & Management Regulations

  • Good level of communication skills, with the necessity to liaise with internal staff and external bodies

  • Good level of organization and work management

  • Good time management and to adhere to deadlines

  • Ability to solve technical issues efficiently and effectively
