Senior Technical Accountant / Credit Controller (Insurance) Senior Technical Accountant / Credit Controller (Insurance) Salary: £48,000 - £60,000 per annum | Location: London Our client are a well established and ambitious London Market insurer and this will be joining them on a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, which has the potential to go on longer. You will be supporting the current team members in getting the debt to a sustainable level, taking on some of the more challenging debt and getting it cleared. This role will be carrying out all aspects of Credit Control, collaborating with brokers to facilitate the timely collection of debt, and processing all cash amounts to the appropriate ledger, allocating cash against the debt entries on the ledgers and reconciling balances due to/from the third party. Also proactively investigating any settlement or accounts queries, liaising with the underwriters and claims teams, processing cash entries/journals to ensure up to date statement accounts are maintained which will include inter-company accounts. You will have experience of credit control and cash management gained in the London/Lloyd's Market and will have dealt with the major brokers.
