Senior Tax Manager

A dynamic, highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in York, are recruiting for a Senior Tax Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to build your team and influence the direction of Tax accounting provision for the practice. Reporting into the partners, the Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for:Management of the tax team, responsible for developing the departmentManaging and growing a portfolio of clientsUndertake tax planning work for companies and individuals in relation to income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax and inheritance taxAttracting new clients and contributing to the success of the firmDeal with more complex tax cases related to residency, R&D, remuneration planning and capital gains taxProvide advice and tax updates, as well as training and mentoring for your teamResearch more complex tax planning issues including EIS, EMI, share schemes, reorganisations, ERS etc.To be successful in this Senior Tax Manager role, you must:Be ICAEW ACA CTA qualifiedConfident advising clients on tax mattersHave a proven record as a team leader and enjoy managing and developing a teamHave excellent IT skills including Excel and a range of accounting softwareWe're keen to hear from you if you are a Tax Senior, Taxation Manager, Head of Tax, Tax Partner or Tax Specialist.
