Ideally, the individualwill have Start-up Experience on a global scale & isn’t adverseto getting their hands dirty. Candidates from a VAT background arepreferred for this role.This is a stand-alone position, so will require a certain level ofautonomy, candidates from a Practice only background may not besuitable.Role Overview: As the Tax Manager, you will report tothe Senior Financial Controller and oversee all aspects of tax, includingVAT data preparation, tax filings, reporting, reconciliation, andforecasting. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with asolid understanding of international tax and VAT mechanisms.Key Responsibilities:Corporate and International Tax:Prepare data and analysis for UK, NL, and US corporate tax reportingand returns.Manage forecasting for tax payments for US and NL entities.Assist with R&D tax credit analysis and preparation.Maintain Transfer Pricing documentation and manage inter-companyaccounting.Monitor international tax risks.VAT and Sales Taxes:Prepare data for monthly NL EC Sales List and quarterly NL VATreturn.Review US Sales tax filings and reconcile reports before filing.Prepare UK VAT returns and maximize VAT recoverable.Maintain the Avalara tax engine and assist in VAT recoveryefforts.Requirements:ACA/ACCA and CTA qualifiedExcellent Excel skills.Solid understanding of VAT mechanisms and basic accountingprinciples.Self-starter with strong attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Bonus Experience:Experience working within a start-up organization.About the Company: Our client is dedicated toempowering organizations and individuals to thrive in remote and hybridwork environments.
