We are looking for a driven and proactive Senior Systems Engineer, someone who's enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude.
What will you be doing?
The role of Senior Systems Engineer is a component of the Engineering Team as such the post holder is responsible for the development of systems and hardware solutions as allocated by the Systems Manager, working under the instruction of a Project Manager.
We require the post holder to have a broad range engineering skills, and must be capable of working autonomously, with minimal levels of supervision.
Technical investigations/ discussions with clients are likely and active participation in the design review process and configuration control are intrinsic parts of the role.
therefore, the post holder must have attention to detail and the ability to accurately document any designs produced.
Essential Skills
A professional Engineer with at least 4 years recent experience and a relevant engineering Degree or HND
Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous projects.
Must be flexible when faced with challenging timescales.
Likely to have developed a number of electrical/ electronic solutions in small to medium sized projects, following the development cycle from concept to final acceptance.
Must be accurate and able to communicate information effectively both verbally and in writing.
Professional accreditation is desirable.
Willingness to work outside their core skill set
