Senior Sustainability Consultant

One the UK's better known property consultancies, this large practice is looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join them in their Leeds, London or Manchester office.Their specialist business are focused on large, varied portfolios such as local and national government, the MoD and universities. It means that you can get close to the client, familiar with their needs and ethos while having a huge variety of schemes.This Sustainability Consultant post will see you working at a Senior or Principal level within the group and providing advice to design teams as well as conducting hands on analysis in the fields of energy and carbon modelling.As such you'll need to be familiar with some of the following; Part L thermal modelling, operational energy calculations, embodied carbon calculations, circular economy strategy development, overheating and other thermal comfort assessments.In terms of qualifications you'll have a BSc or MSc in a related subject, five years or more working in sustainable design and be fluent with using packages such as IES VE, DesignBuilder or TAS.The other key thing that you will have is the ability to obtain security clearance due to the nature of their client base and works undertaken.On offer is a salary up to £65k depending upon your level and location (Leeds, Manchester or London), your own professional development budget, an outstanding pension package and a permanent commitment to hybrid working.Calibre Search promote equality in the workplace and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified candidates regardless of their sex, race, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
