Position:
To manage and lead the delivery of sustainable building services solutions on individual projects; to be a proactive member of the sustainability team; to contribute to the resource allocation of sustainability requirements as project work demands; contribute to the development of the sustainability team with marketing and fee bids and keeping up to date with current Legislation and Planning Policies.� This position can be based in one of our clients numerous UK offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Warrington, Aberdeen, or Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of Energy Strategies for Planning Applications
- Lodgement of SAP calculations
- Lodgement of non-domestic and domestic EPCs
- Delivery of Sustainability Statements for Planning Applications
- Knowledge of BREEAM / WELL
- Knowledge of Home Quality Mark (HQM)
- Thermal modelling to Level 5 (preferred)
- Knowledge of fa�ade performance and U-value calculations
- Knowledge of Energy Auditing and Assessment
- Knowledge of daylight calculations
- Input into fee proposals
Requirements (essential):
- Educated to degree level in related discipline
- Knowledge of residential and non-residential energy modelling
- BREEAM Assessor
- Presentation skills
- Ensure that the Quality System procedures are adhered to
- Responsible attitude and actively undertake training
- Lead external workshops and design team meetings
Requirements (desirable):
- Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical design
- Knowledge of RIBA stages of work
- Chartership
- Level 5 IES thermal modelling accreditation
- BREEAM / WELL AP
- Knowledge of BSRIA scope of works
