Job title: Senior Sustainability AdvisorLocation: United Kingdom (Remote)The Senior Sustainability Advisor leads client engagements of various scopes, including GHG emission reduction strategy development, renewable product evaluation and risk analysis, transaction solicitation management, and contract negotiation between client and developer. Client engagement leadership includes leading client meetings and workshops (often with senior executives), communicating effectively on complex topics, managing work scopes, and assuring the delivery of quality and timely information.The Senior Sustainability Advisor demonstrates and applies subject matter expertise in multiple areas, including but not limited to:wholesale power markets in Europe,Scope 2 emission reduction products,GHG emission reduction frameworks,tariff rate structures for commercial & industrial enterprises,renewable project economics and analysis techniques, and transaction negotiations and contracting.The SRA guides other analysis/advisor team members (Net Zero, Energy Portfolio Management, Trading desk for Energy Attribute Certificates), offers and seeks support to/from colleagues on tangent teams, and leads cross-team initiatives as requested.Company Overview:TGRC are working with a global energy and sustainability advisor that enables companies to positively address climate change calls through decades of experience in the energy sector. They help customers navigate complex competitive energy supply markets through to implementing decarbonisation roadmaps and renewable energy projects. Work in partnership with our commercial and industrial clients to design a holistic strategy encompassing energy reporting, energy supply and energy management programmes.Responsibilities:Develop and deliver clear and analytically supported presentation material to educate and advise clients on renewable procurement strategy and execution.Lead client discussions to facilitate stakeholder alignment and shape strategies that reflect stated goals, priorities, and constraints.Moreover, demonstrate market, regulatory and renewable transaction expertise throughout client engagements.Maintain an understanding of existing and new sustainability solutions and how they are regarded by key organizations (SBTi, RE100, CDP, etc.).Manage procurement of renewable supply and environmental commodities including design and delivery of sourcing events, proposal analysis and due diligence, and post-procurement support.Build and maintain counterparty relationships (including those with renewable project developers and environmental commodity sellers)Your Profile:5+ years of professional experience in the context of Corporate Renewable Power Purchase AgreementsIn addition, experience in client-facing roles on a senior management levelMoreover, the ability to work with and communicate data via Excel and other analytical toolsIn addition, a firm understanding of European energy markets, regulatory policy and competitive environmentFurthermore, the ability to develop strong client relationshipsLastly, high proficiency in the English language, international experienceIn conclusion, be part of an organisation to drive the renewable energy revolution and contribute to a sustainable future.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and interest in the role to Tom Brookes (#####)
