Senior Surveyor – Planning and DevelopmentAre you an MRICS Qualified Surveyor looking to help support and grow our dynamic, busy and ambitious team? Do you have a keen interest and experience in Planning and Development Viability?We are the largest independent Planning and Development team in the South East with circa 70+ people across the business who specialise in planning, transport, urban design, environment and land. We have access to a range of industry leading clients including large housing associations, housebuilders, developers and local authorities, with exposure to a number of exciting and varied projects.This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but growing Viability team, as well as having the opportunity to assist the Planning and Land teams, giving you a well-rounded knowledge of the industry. The business operates nationally and therefore the job will require a national approach towards client work and business development, working collaboratively across our three DHA offices, but primarily based in Maidstone.Experience:S106 Negotiation/CIL AdviceEconomic Viability AppraisalsEnabling Development Development Appraisals and Feasibility StudiesManagement of planning projects (including preparing advice and planning application/appeal documentation)Good all-round knowledge of the UK planning systemRecently MRICS Qualified (but would consider those nearing completion)Commercial and Residential Valuation Experience - Primarily development valuationsBe adept at using Argus and ExcelStrong academic backgroundWell spoken, well presented and ambitiousExposure to Affordable Housing and Financial Viability AssessmentsIdeally private sector consultancy experience, but not essentialExcellent initiative and driveA full UK driving license For more information please call the Maidstone office on 01622 776226 and ask to speak to Danielle Lawrence. ApplyShare this page
