Senior Support Worker

Our client is seeking an established dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join their residential childcare setting . As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children with diverse needs. You'll work closely with the children and other team members to ensure their well-being and enhance their quality of life. You will provide a home from home environment. Responsibilities:

• To act as shift leader ensuring that the daily tasks of the home are completed and that the service the children receive is of the highest possible standard
• Develop and implement care plans.
• Assist with daily living activities.
• Promote independence and social inclusion.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and external agencies.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 Caring for children & young people or working towards this
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
