We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Substance Misuse Nurse to join our Substance Misuse team at HMP Onley, a
category C Prison located in Rugby.
The site currently offers a 3-week rolling shift pattern.
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £46,200 per annum - depending on experience.

What you’ll be doing
As a Substance Misuse Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, prioritising patient care to develop individualised packages of care through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning.
You will deliver a range of treatment options including clinical and psychosocial interventions in both a group and 1-1 setting with recovery at the centre of our healthcare wellbeing model.
You must be able to carry out comprehensive assessments, initiate and review individual recovery plans and confidently communicate the full range of treatment options available to service users
promote safe patient care
develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

You will be a qualified Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with a real passion for developing your clinical skills in an environment that is ever changing
You'll also have a RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake this to support you in your development.
Experience of working with opiate dependant patients is advantageous for this role, as well as sound clinical substance misuse knowledge.
