We are working with a leading building and engineering consultancy who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their team based in Cardiff. As a key member of their structural engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design and execution of innovative and sustainable structural solutions for a wide range of projects.Responsibilities For The Structural EngineerLead and manage the structural design process from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software.Produce high-quality design drawings, specifications, and reports.Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client presentations as required.Requirements For The Structural EngineerBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.5-10 years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably within the construction industry.Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards).Chartered status with a recognized professional body (e.g., IStructE, ICE) is highly desirable.Benefits For The Structural EngineerCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Generous annual leave allowance.Opportunities for professional development and further training.The salary for the Senior Structural Engineer is between £50k and £65k, depending on experience and Chartership status.Purobuild are a specialist recruitment agency who specialise in placing Structural Engineers, Facade Engineers, Facade Designers, Facade Consultants, Facade Technicians, Facade Surveyors, Facade Estimators.
