Responsibilities:
Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Conduct structural analysis and design using industry-standard software and methodologies.
Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimise project outcomes.
Stay abreast of industry trends, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Qualifications:
BA or MSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent to)
Chartered from the ICE or IStructE.
A minimum of five years’ experience with a UK design consultancy.
Proficient in software such as Revit & Tekla Structural Designer.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results on time and within budget.
