Alpha Associates Recruitment is seeking a Structural Engineer at either Senior or Principal level to join their client's team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual capable of managing projects from proposal to construction administration. Previous experience in Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Retail sectors is preferred. Competitive salary based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates.
Perform construction-related services such as shop drawing reviews, responding to requests for information, site observation, and structural inspections.
Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors on project design and construction.
Ensure high-quality drawings to minimize errors and costly mistakes.
Liaise with team members to meet client demands.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Eurocodes, design codes, and standards.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a UK Consultancy.
Full UK License required.
