Job Description
This client-facing role seeks a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join the Manchester team. The role involves managing projects, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with the office Director on various projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of post-graduate experience in building structures consultancy.
Responsibilities include project management, client liaison, structural modeling, design coordination, and overseeing structural designs from concept to completion. The role offers exposure to diverse projects, skill development opportunities, and career advancement support.
Skills and Responsibilities
Adeptness in structural engineering principles and design codes
Proficiency in structural materials like steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
Experience in UK projects complying with building regulations
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about engineering
Expertise in structural design software and BIM
Chartered or near Chartered with IStructE
