Castle ward is an Rheumatology and Endocrine inpatient ward. The post would ideally suit a nurse who is keen to develop their professional profile - someone who recognize opportunities for improvements and is a motivator to drive forward changes within the ward. A dynamic and enthusiastic senior nurse with the ambition to succeed, willingness to learn and ability to work with the whole team in support of the ward manager. A nurse keen to develop their management skills, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and motivated to develop skills and training appropriate to the role would be an ideal candidate for this post.Main duties of the jobSupport the Ward / Department Sister/ Charge Nurse in leading the team to deliver the objectives of the clinical area. In the absence of the Ward Department /Sister/ Charge Nurse, be responsible for ensuring that all patients in the given clinical area receive safe, competent nursing care.
