Senior SQA Engineer

What you will do:
Forseven is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineers to join our team in ensuring the successful launch of our new vehicle programmes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools, a strong background in supplier quality management, and experience working with engineering partners and purchasing teams to develop and deploy sourcing strategies
Ensure the selection of capable suppliers for our new vehicle programmes
Manage the delivery of new components into production using APQP tools
Provide significant input into the design of components and manufacturing processes
Develop and deploy sourcing strategies in collaboration with engineering development partners and purchasing teams
Lead APQP activities on vehicle components/sub-systems
Work closely with the engineering partner to ensure that Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles are followed
We would like you to have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline highly desired
Experience in a complex manufacturing environment essential, preferably in the automotive industry
Must be highly experienced in TS16949/VDA requirements
Previous experience of the commodities within the remit of the role is desired but not essential
Experience with APQP tools and processes
