Senior Solution Architect - Lloyds Insurance Market - Speciality Insurance - Permanent - London

Senior Solution Architect is sought by a leading speciality insurer who are on an exciting Transformation/Modernisation journey that will revolutionise how the Business interacts with IT. You will be a Senior Architect responsible for all Project related work and take ownership of Solution Design with the aim to improve services for the business.

As an SME, you will also have expertise within Insurance - ideally across the London/Lloyds speciality market. A brilliant opportunity for someone keen on establishing themselves as part of a high-performing Architecture team and have significant impact benefiting the business.

The role will require an on-site presence with 2-3 days per week in the London office.
Role:

• Support the business in their mission to provide world class IT solutions that will aid in efficiency and profitable growth
• The role will require you to "Bridge the gap" between IT and Business - helping nontechnical audiences understand the importance of appropriate IT solutions and how it benefits them/wider company
• Work alongside Head of Architecture and CIO - support the Technology Roadmap and adding value where needed
• move across the Business and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  
  
  
  • Work very closely with the IT Directors/Leadership team to implement appropriate solutions aligned to the Company's Strategy
• Add value to the Design Authority and Architecture review board
• Build relationships across all technical disciplines
• Continued development and knowledge of the Technology landscape - providing latest news and trends to the business
• Ability to understand business requirements and transition to appropriate architecture - understanding HLD & LLD

Skills/Knowledge:

• Industry background - Insurance (Essential) Ideally London Markets/Lloyds Market Insurance
• Technical background in Application Development/Software Development
• Microsoft Technology Stack - C#, .NET, O365, Azure
• Automation experience
• PaaS, IaaS, Saas
• TOGAF
• Cloud experience - Azure
• Waterfall & Agile delivery
