This really is an exciting opportunity that you don't want to miss out on.THE ROLE:This role is responsible for executing and developing the software architecture outlined by the Head of Software, further refining laser detection algorithms and writing embedded software from scratch. This role is entirely technical and resides in the Research and Development space of the business.This role is primarily focused on:Writing software to control micro-controllersDeveloping and enhancing existing code on embedded systemsWriting new laser detection algorithms in C++ on embedded systemsExecuting the software design architecture as outlined by the Head of SoftwareTHE PERSON:The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience:4+ Years Experience (Minimum) in Software Engineering role or similarDegree or HND in a software engineering related / computer science relevant degreeExperience with C++/Embedded C is essentialAnalytical skills with an ability to communicate effectively, both written and oralExperience with Linux and/or FreeRTOS (Desirable)Able to work to tight deadlinesMust be eligible for security clearanceThe CompanyThe company are a true market leader in their field and going through an exciting period of growth.
