Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer in one of our 30 engineering platforms operating at hyper-scale receiving thousands of requests per second, you'll work as part of strong cross functional agile team driving quality and technology bringing your skills and experience to share with the team and mentor the other engineers' day to day. As we expand this offering to more partners we have a need for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the team.
Our approach to development focuses heavily on pair programming, TDD and Continuous Delivery. If you have the technical skills we're looking for and a passion for Agile delivery and fast-paced environments, come join us!
What our day looks like:
Work as part of an enthusiastic and motivated agile development team that takes pride in delivering high-quality software into production.
Take a test first approach from business requirements through to code.
You will continually develop and improve our code and technology, playing a senior role in the team.
Writing high quality code to drive company growth and effectiveness of the buying and merchandising teams who use our software.
Join our regular Tech Develops days to learn new things, take part in internal and external hackathons, share your knowledge and help to drive improvements in engineering.
Qualifications
About You:
We are looking for self-motivated, passionate and highly engaged individual who can craft quality solutions to our end users and have these attributes:
Experience of leading software delivery in an iterative, continuous delivery environment that ships value frequently.
Excellent communicator, mentor and negotiator skills
Experience integrating with 3rd parties.
We'd love it if you have experience in building applications with
