Job Description
Senior Software Engineer – Dorset - £50,000 - £80,000 pa
A rapidly growing defence contractor are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their R&D team working on designing top of the range, high-tech communication systems.
Responsibilities:
Software design, development & review from concept to release for single processor & multi-processor systems.
Work in a multi-disciplinary team of hardware, software & systems engineers.
Work to detailed technical requirements throughout the design life cycle.
Undertake and oversee design activities at both the equipment, system and software levels ensuring rigorous test procedures are in place to verify these.
Meeting technical requirements through all phases of design, integration and leading to customer acceptance.
Key Skills/Experience:
Degree in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or another relevant discipline
C/C++
C#
UML Modelling
Embedded Systems
Non-Essential/Nice to have’s:
Defence/Aerospace experience
Systems Modelling
Sonar Systems
Signalling Systems
