You would be joining an exciting and fast paced start up business working on state of the image Security devices for the industrial customers based globally. You would be joining the business during a period of substantial growth in turn offering you excellent progression opportunities. This really is an exciting opportunity that you don't want to miss out on.THE ROLE:This role is responsible for executing and developing the software architecture outlined by the Head of Software, further refining laser detection algorithms and writing embedded software from scratch. This role is entirely technical and resides in the Research and Development space of the business.This role is primarily focused on:Writing software to control micro-controllersDeveloping and enhancing existing code on embedded systemsWriting new laser detection algorithms in C++ on embedded systemsExecuting the software design architecture as outlined by the Head of Software THE PERSON:The ideal Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience:Degree or HND in a software engineering related / computer science relevant degreeExperience with C++/Embedded CAnalytical skills with an ability to communicate effectively, both written and oralExperience with Linux and/or FreeRTOS (Desirable)Able to work to tight deadlinesMust be eligible for security clearance The company are a true market leader in their field and can offer excellent routes to career progression and development.
