Job DescriptionSenior Embedded Software Engineer – Birmingham - £55-65KA client of nGenium is looking for a talented Senior embedded software engineer to join their growing business. This successful embedded software engineer will lead not only on product design, its testing, and compliance with UK & International standards, but will also manage a team of Software engineers. You will be pivotal in software design and control systems engineering.Responsibilities include :Designing the software system architecture, validating the design,Development and execution of test plans through to product type approval.Proficient in C programming,CAN bus Familiar with hardware design and embedded software code develop.Strong communication and project management skills.MATLAB / Simulink simulation / modelling experience (Desirable) The ideal firmware engineer will have an impressive track record and skills/experience from working in or with a system product supplier bringing new innovations to market. Experience working in a SME would be desirable, highly collaborative, able to support the development of technology product market roadmaps, familiar with and a keen interest in areas of low carbon energy technology.
