Do you have the drive to take the lead in developing cutting-edge digital projects, spanning from ecommerce to bespoke web apps, and from business-critical digital applications to mobile apps? As part of this role, you will assist in the technical planning and oversee the complete end-to-end delivery of digital projects within one of our five small, collaborative production teams.
Key duties:
Providing technical leadership for projects within the team
Designing websites and apps from a technical perspective
Developing technical documentation
Coding
Formulating test and launch plans
Supporting technical learning and advancement within the team
Conducting code reviews for junior team members
Key Requirements:
Outstanding coding and problem solving skills.
Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Java, PHP and C# (or another demonstrably similar OO-centric language ).
Familiarity with frameworks such as .Net, Magento and WordPress.
Proficiency with front-end web technologies like Nginx or Apache
Knowledge of resilient and scalable database design using mySQL or Hibernate.
Capability of taking ownership in the delivery of projects.
