Senior Software Engineer (Web)

We work with industry leaders and innovators across a wide range of markets and technologies world-wide.Since the company's creation in Australia in 2011, Bigtincan has expanded globally to include the US, the UK, and many others.The company is now growing its existing engineering team based in Glasgow city centre, and is looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-paced product development team. In this role, you will work with an international cross functional team in a highly collaborative environment to meet user needs and business goals.The successful candidate must live in Scotland within reasonable travel time of Glasgow city centre, and be able and willing to attend the office in person once a week as a minimum, and additional times as needed.Responsibilities: Development and delivery of design-system based responsive web and mobile applications Contribute to green-field projects as well as modernising the existing stack Support the products built through their entire life cycle, including testing, production and incident management Contribute to key technical decisions through collaboration/feedback with peers and management ensuring that decisions align with the broader organisational goals and strategy Develop/Understand the big picture as well as focus on the details Learn, embrace and continuously grow our tooling, processes and engineering culture
Gain exposure and contribute to complex, distributed systems of our sales enablement platform Qualifications: Excellent communication, problem solving and organisation skills.
Strong experience in developing web and mobile apps using Angular, Typescript and modern tools like webpack, yarn, npm, Grunt, Gulp etc. Experience in MVC-driven Single page Application development, Responsive web design, code optimization, cross browser compatibility and standards like W3C and ES6 Good working knowledge of .Net, C# and RESTful APIs
Deep experience with multiple development frameworks, design patterns, build, deployment and automated testing tools Understanding of CI/CD toolchain and Azure cloud development
