What you’ll be doingArchitecting & designing scalable backend systemsIntegration & development of various microservicesCreating unit tests using RSpecReviewing other developers code as well as suggesting improvementsAlgorithm development & general optimizationSetting up CI/CD pipelinesCollaborating cross functionally with various stakeholders including QA, DevOps, PMs, and other developersSolid understanding of deploying and maintaining Rails apps within the AWS environmentAbility to set up workers & deploy across multiple instancesGit experience, some would say you are a git master
RequirementsStrong experience in Ruby and Ruby on RailsFamiliar with one or more cloud provider’s services. Experience with containerized applications and infrastructure provisioning would be a plusExperience working in fast-paced and dynamic scrum teamsExperience architecting and designing scalable solutionsWorking knowledge of standard CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis)A systematic debugging and problem solving methodology
