Senior Software Engineer (Python)
As a Software Engineer at Cellular Origins you'll be developing our automation and customer facing systems. You will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle and take ownership for delivery of critical modules within the platform.
This is an opportunity to join a true multidisciplinary team and broaden your skills - you'll have the opportunity to work closely with the broader electronics, robotics and system engineering aspects of the system.
You will be joining a fast-growing, interdisciplinary team with a passion for solving a worthwhile problem. This is somewhere to really make your mark, working in a technically challenging and impact-driven venture, with bright and committed peers, to define the future of cell therapy manufacturing.
Requirements
You will have a strong background in Python software engineering, and your comprehensive technical skills will allow you to quickly understand new concepts and collaborate effectively with team members. Additionally, you will have worked in an agile environment and have a good understanding of TDD/BDD approaches to software engineering.
Proficiency in Python, Java or other web technologies
Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask or similar frameworks
Design, and development of relational databases
Understanding of message queues and pub/sub architectures
Proficiency in requirements gathering
Experience working within an agile environment (Scrum/BDD/TDD/XP)
