As our Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead the charge in developing robust software solutions that align with customer requirements. From system analysis to debugging and maintenance, your expertise will drive our projects forward, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Analysing system requirements and use cases to decompose into architectural models.
• Conducting peer reviews of architectural models.
• Creating modular, reusable subsystems with strong interfaces.
• Conducting both interactive and automated unit, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Performing precise debugging, root cause fault analysis, and reporting.
• Facilitating design review meetings.
• Managing defect tracking and version control systems.
• Adhering to defined development procedures and processes.
• Crafting comprehensive technical documentation.
• Continuously enhancing technical knowledge and skills through in-house or external courses, manuals, and exploring new applications.
• Demonstrating effective verbal, written, and diagrammatic communication.
• Exhibiting proven flexibility and dedication, both independently and within a team.
• Demonstrating outstanding analytical skills.

And this is what you'll need:

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in electronics, software, mathematics, or a science-based subject.
• Proven track record in crafting real-time, safety-critical software for embedded platforms.
• Proficiency in software architectural design utilising models.
• Strong command of the C language, encompassing defensive coding techniques, robust error handling strategies, programming by contract, and adherence to MISRA C standards.
• Extensive experience in software simulation and testing, leveraging automated test tools.
• Familiarity with product life cycles, from inception to deployment.
