Lead system-level quality engineering and delivery in a cross-functional mobile engineering team to deliver high quality solutions that improve outcomes for our customers
Lead the test approach, automated testing and where appropriate, manual testing of complex systems
Lead from the front when appropriate, and from behind to grow more junior engineers
Own stability of environments, automated tests and CI/CD tooling
Elevate quality and security posture of applications in the wider Outcome Team
Elevate quality and security posture of the Capital One Android and iOS mobile apps, working across multiple engineering teams What we’re looking for:
A hands-on technical leader with strong skills in programming and a broad background in technology. The primary languages of our mobile quality engineers are Kotlin and Swift - the ideal candidate will already be adept in these languages in the context of writing automated tests.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to read the room and adapt style to situation and audience
Collaborative team player who can take people both inside and outside the team on a journey, to solve significant problems
A desire to have proactive positive impact on people and systems What you’ll get to learn (any previous experience would be advantageous):
