To deliver these services, the company is reinforced by the expertise of more than 5,000 employees.Sopra Banking has an unequalled ability to address the requirements for banks and financial institutions of any size and scope, allowing them to innovate and expand their services.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps Engineer) to join our SaaS and Cloud Services team based from our Yate, Bristol office working a hybrid model of 2 days per week in the office. What will the role involve?:Enhancing and developing across DevSecOps domains including deployment, security, and automation using technologies like Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code.Delivering high-quality solutions in languages like Typescript, Golang, and Python across disciplines such as full stack and microservices.Evaluating third-party products for security, cost, and functionality.Designing cost-effective, secure, and scalable solutions.Quickly and iteratively delivering value through continuous delivery principles.Assessing and optimizing architecture and operational processes.Staying updated with industry trends and integrating best practices.Collaborating with teams to align processes with strategic goals.Ensuring adherence to standards like ISO 27001 and providing evidence of compliance.Understanding the broader architectural context and advocating for suitable solutions.QualificationsWe are interested in hearing from you, if you have most of the following attributes:Experienced professional.Adaptable, quick learner comfortable with new domains.Strong coding skills and the ability to work across multiple languages. We currently use Typescript, Golang, Python and Kotlin.Good understanding of development best practices and ability to apply them.Effective communicator across teams, functions, and organizations.Skilled in analysing architecture, products, and processes.Capable of innovating and building solutions to solve problems in line with long-term strategiesDriven to enhance the organization and champion impactful solutions.Foundational understanding of DevSecOps design and toolingFoundational understanding of cloud technologies.
