Our client is a leading, international online media organisation with presence in over 100 countries, serving over 100 million users.
They are currently on a very exciting technology transformation and as part of their Architecture function, this role will play a key role in the strategy and delivery of revolutionising their technology platform, to shape the future of their already highly successful business.
What you'll do in the role:
Drive technical designs for the core capabilities on the platform
Help integrate cutting-edge practices in distributed systems and domain driven design
Be an SME for the engineering org, helping the teams to build robust solutions and mentoring engineers about best practice
Work with very large-scale software and distributed platforms
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business
Bring an extensive backend engineering background
Help shape technical decisions around tooling and programming language
Showcase your strong product mindset and foster collaboration for product engineering across our clients engineering org.
