Senior site manager

This project is awarded and about to the demolition phase and we need a site manager experienced with the demolition process for main contractors in the past

later in the year we will start piling and this is on a complicated and tight site with 2 blocks of RC frame accommodation and a number of refurbishments of the existing facilities

Reporting to the Project director you will be part of the on site team responsible for everything from sub-contractor compliance to technical queries and quality checks throughout the program

As part of the delivery team on this � 35 million project you will instruct your Subcontractors and deal with the coordination of trades sub-contractors across the scheme.

You will be working with your team who will look to you for the management of the logistics , quality and technical issues to steer the job on track for a timely delivery with minimum defects.

Dealing with the updates to the program - 2 week look ahead / sequencing of trades and management of sub-contractors queries you will be pivotal as a Site Manager for the project lead for the duration of the project.

Candidates must be to manage and motivate teams and sub-contractor's senior management team and be driven to deliver the job on time and to budget ,

Applicants must have at least 10 year's experience of major projects from Demolition stage through to finish as a Site Manager / Construction manager on schemes in excess of � 15 million in the past along with up to date CSCS , SMSTS and 1st aid

ideally you will be with commuting distance of the Hampshire

Candidates will get to take this job from the Demolition works stage and manage the entire process through to successful handover.

Due to the logistically challenging nature of the project, previous experience of working on a similar sites for main contractors will be advantageous.

You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.
