We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow and ITOM Specialist to join our team and help us deliver exceptional IT services and operational management.
The Role
The Senior ServiceNow and ITOM Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform, particularly focusing on IT Operations Management (ITOM). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, define solutions, and ensure the effective delivery and management of IT services.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement ITOM solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements for ITOM projects.
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
Optimize ITOM processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor and maintain the performance of ServiceNow ITOM applications, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution design, process flows, and user guides.
Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex issues within the ServiceNow platform.
Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends to continuously improve the ITOM environment.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate ITOM solutions with other IT systems and tools.
Train and mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform
3 + years experience with ITOM modules.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required; additional certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITOM are preferred.
Strong understanding of IT Operations Management principles and best practices.
Proficiency in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules and applications.
Experience with ITIL and ITSM best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
German language skills
Experience with DORA compliance
Financial sector experience
