Working within a financial services company as a senior service desk engineer, carrying out the day-to-day IT support and focusing on larger projects as the business moves the IT team in-house.

The Role & Responsibilities:
Transferring the service desk from an external provider to an internal team. The candidate would be a people person able to provide support to all levels of the business as well as carry out larger projects.
3rd/4th line IT support
Working within the ITIL framework
Project work
On-boarding devices and employees
Training & Mentoring Juniors
Providing 5-star customer service
The person:
Senior IT support engineer experience
Indepth understanding and subject matter expertise of Microsoft 365, Windows Server Technologies, Exchange Online, Active Directory (AD) & Azure AD
Networking & server management
BAU support and being the point of escalation
Worked in ITIL frameworks
Project management or migration experience
Desirable (but not required):
Worked within an MSP or IT consultancy
Worked in the Financial sector
ITIL certification
Microsoft Certified
