As a Senior Service Delivery Manager, you’ll be a key member of the team that’s delivering transformational change in organisation design and ways of working for a strategically important National Security business. You’ll also contribute to developing a growth strategy and be directly involved in driving revenue, order intake and operational management of mission critical services covering both applications and platforms, taking a significant role in the development and achievement of organisational objectives, including creation and execution of growth and maturing of service and Solutions portfolio delivery.Alongside designing high level product and service models that secures service scope within bids and product offerings within the National Security customer base, you’ll work across Roke and customer sites to market the team to internal and external stakeholders.Roke are a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Industry; working alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges by bringing the physical and the digital together.As a Senior Service Delivery Manager you will lead a team of experts: providing guidance, mentorship and fostering a culture where collaboration and continuous improvement are key. This will identify improvement initiatives, which you’ll lead and support your team to deliver.You will also support the Head of Service and the Solutions leadership team in developing and executing strategy and day-to-day operations, deputising for the Head of Service when appropriate.The Key Requirements...Able to demonstrate a successful history of managing IT operations in complex, fast-paced and highly regulated environments; preferably to U.K. Defence or National Security standards.An understanding of development practices and tools used by software developers and able to work closely with DevOps product teams; supporting those who build and support service -orientated architecture and microservices, containerisation platforms and runtime.Used to working within the ITIL framework.Well developed leadership and people management skills, able to demonstrate how you have successfully grown and developed those around you.Built over a 60-year heritage, Roke offers specialist knowledge in sensors, communications, cyber, and AI and ML.
