Senior Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Manager
Kahena, a global digital marketing agency is seeking a senior SEO Manager to work remotely in the UK.
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and work with international brands. As a Senior SEO Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple SEO client projects – executing on project tasks, deliverables, and achieving milestones. You will oversee and execute on strategic project plans and tasks including everything from on-page optimisation, data analysis, competitive research, and much more.
You will be provided thorough training with ample opportunities to grow and expand your career in a short period of time. You will work with a number of clients in various industries and see the online success that comes as a direct result of your SEO management efforts.
What you will do:
Taking on client projects immediately, either as part of a team or main account owner.
Manage SEO campaigns for multiple clients including project management, reporting, analysis, and task execution.
Undertake regular KPI analysis & prepare detailed performance reports.
Prepare agendas and lead client meetings with multiple stakeholders.
Manage client expectations and set task prioritisation.
Undertake analysis and provide SEO recommendations for on-page, technical and off-page elements.
Optimise and provide guidance on SEO best practices.
Undertake technical SEO audits and work with development teams to implement required changes.
Analyse Google Analytics & Google Search Console trends and insights.
Stay up to date with the latest SEO strategies, news and guidelines.
What you'll have:
Native-level English speaker with excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
Minimum 3 years of experience in SEO.
Agency background with client facing experience
Strategic SEO project management
Experience with Excel and basic data analysis.
Extremely web savvy
Experience managing SEO strategies
Exposure to large blue-chip clients
Confident and adaptable in dynamic team settings
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting (must be based in UK)
Strong skills in time management and ability to work under deadlines.
Extra skills that would be ideal include:
Solid Technical SEO experience
Built & executed project plans while coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including developers.
Experience with Project Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, Monday.com).
Experience with Software Development methodologies (Agile, SDLC).
Advanced experience with Excel (including Pivot Tables, Vlookups, SumIFs) and basic data analysis is essential)
Advanced experience with Web Analytics.
Some level of coding experience (HTML, CSS, JS).
Background in JavaScript + SEO issues.
Experience with various SEO software (i.e., SEMRush, ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Keyword Planner, etc).
Experience in enterprise SEO, local SEO
Knowledge of the US market – US English, corporate culture, audience targeting.
Any experience in creating marketing copy. Creative writer and thinker.
Any experience in various CMS systems (WordPress, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, etc. )
