Senior Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Senior/Principal Scientist to join an antibody discovery and development company near Reading.

This role is open to applicants at Senior or Principal level.

The Role:
This position will be suited to driven candidate with a strong work ethic and the ability to motivate a team. A candidate with�cell and molecular biology�skills would be desired with an extensive background within In-Vitro Pharmacology - preferably with significant antibody discovery experience.

Responsibilities:

• Implement pharmacological and immunological assays in order to characterise antibody candidates.
• Motivate and lead project and laboratory teams.
• Present findings to internal stakeholders and external collaborators.
• Lead antibody discover efforts through antibody generation and target identification strategies.

Qualifications and experience:

• Ph.D in Pharmacology, Immunology or Molecular Biology with at least 10 years of industry experience in In-Vitro Pharmacology in drug discovery - ideally with significant antibody experience.
• Experience with scientific leadership and expertise within pre-clinical drug discovery.
• Strong background in Immunology, cell biology and molecular biology techniques.
• Sound knowledge and history of using data analysis software and statistical methods.
• Excellent knowledge and extensive history of in vitro assay disciplines.
