Job Reference: J5639082Status: Open to ApplicationsUpdated: 05/04/2024 Role Overview We are currently looking for a Senior Scientist to join a leading Biopharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Senior Scientist you will be responsible for the establishment of robust, fit for purpose biologicals drug product manufacturing processes for the different development phases. Key Duties and Responsibilities Your duties as the Senior Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will define and select drug product manufacturing processes and parameters for clinical manufacture.2. As the Senior Scientist you will support the development and implementation of the DP CMC development strategy within BCPDS.3. You will build close collaboration with the External DP Clinical Manufacturing Team for the establishment of drug product processes and manufacturing of stability and clinical DP batches.4. As the Senior Scientist you will support the development and implementation of the DP CMC development strategy within BCPDS. Role Requirements To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Minimum of 3 years experience in sterile drug product development and / or manufacturing within the pharmaceutical industry is required.2. Good knowledge and technical experience in parenteral liquid drug product development and cGMP manufacturing under aseptic conditions (such as vial, cartridge and pre-filled syringe filling) would be required.3. Good technical knowledge of sterile DP development covering DP components, process transfer, scale and optimization.
