Senior Scientist, Research and Development

A unique opportunity to join the team as a Senior Scientist, Research & Development for a leading Medical Device company!
In this primarily lab-based role, you'll spearhead research and development while implementing analytical methods! Additionally, you'll serve as the Quality Lead, overseeing QA/regulatory processes and documentation. Collaboration with the QA Department is integral. Your focus will be on various chemistries, including acidified nitrite and nitric-oxide centric analysis.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for Method Development and trouble-shooting lab systems including, hplc, UV-Vis, fluorimetry and FT-IR; you will be the SME for hplc.
You will draft and review Study Plans, Working Instructions, Working Documents, Technical Reports, and SOPs.
You will use your eQMS experience and working in a GxP regulatory environment to be the QA advocate for the company.
Carry out data interpretation, data processing, and generating graphical outputs.
Requirements:
PhD in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry. A minimum of 5+ years knowledge and successful hands-on experience in developing disparate analytical methodologies. Must possess independent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills. The ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
