Senior Scientific Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading medical communication agency specialising in independent medical education. We are currently seeking a Senior Scientific Specialist to join our esteemed client’s Scientific Services team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing impactful educational programmes and contributing to business proposals that drive innovation in medical education.
As the Senior Scientific Specialist, you will be tasked with identifying unmet educational needs within the cardiovascular (and related conditions) space. Your primary responsibility will involve designing educational programmes that effectively address these needs, in close collaboration with the business development team and sponsors.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the scientific accuracy of IME programmes and develop supporting collateral to enhance their impact.
Act as a liaison between clients, KOLs, and internal and external stakeholders on all scientific matters.
Craft compelling scientific narratives for sales proposals and collaborate closely with the business development team on programme design.
Represent the agency at key international congresses by travelling internationally.
About You:
A degree in bioscience or related field is required for this role, with additional qualifications such as a Master’s or PhD being desirable.
Experience in medical communications or a similar role, preferably with exposure to IME and/or CME.
Foundational understanding of cardiology and familiarity with modern treatments for cardiovascular conditions.
