Full Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a Senior Sanctions and KYC Analyst who willsupport the Group Compliance Officer on a range of day to daycompliance duties, to ensure the business continues to meet itsregulatory obligations across the globe.Job Title:Senior Sanctions and KYC Analyst Salary: £60,000Location:London - Hybrid Key responsibilites: Provide focused specialist sanctions advice to the business takinginto account business/customer needs, external best practice andregulatory requirements.Carry out research and providepolicy advice on sanctions related issues including legal andregulatory developments and guidance.Carrying out a KYCrisk assessment on new and existing counterparties. Includingreviewing, and where applicable, challenging the KYC informationprovided, where necessary.Contribute to continuousimprovement of sanctions and KYC processes.As determinedby the Group Compliance Officer attendance at sanctions/KYC relatedseminars, conferences, and market forums.Where required,assisting the Group Compliance Officer with the review anddistribution of TOBAs across the business.Key candidate'sskills:Minimum of three to four years’ experience in asanctions role within the Insurance market, preferably with aknowledge of the Marine market.Detailed knowledge ofsanctions regimes and international licensing, within specificattention to UK, EU or US requirements.Ability tocomplete a KYC process on a counterparty and reach a conclusion.Understanding of the application of Terms of BusinessAgreements (TOBAs) and the ability to review and agree these in linewith regulatory requirements.If interested please get in touch.
